Roger,
Yes, the red wire is the positive. The connector is an AC out option, please refer to your operator guide. I hope that helps.
Thanks

Morgan,
I just received my WindMaster and everything looks great! I do have one question though, is the red wire coming from it the "positive" wire? And, what is the connector on the back for? Thanks, Roger.

Bill, has your issue been resolved?
Thanks

Bill,
Morgan just told me you are having problems reading the wiring diagrams. I am the webmaster for this site and I am currently creating an easier wiring diagram for both the Outback inverter and the Xantrex charge controllers (they all wire the same).
I should have it up tomorrow.
Thanks

Bill,
What device in the system are you having problems with? The Xantrex charge controllers state wire size in the manual. So do the inverters. Which inverter do you have?
Thanks

Hello,
I am interested in your business opportunity. I submitted the form a few days ago and haven't had a response back.
Can you help?
Posted by: John W | July 18, 2008 at 12:01 PM
I think the roof mount concept is great. My HOA wont allow solar panels much less a 50' tower in my back yard.
Way to go Freetricity.

I could REALLY use these!!
Is installation extra? Is there a trained pro in the north Texas area who can install and connect them? Do I need an electrician?
We live in a Dallas suburb but no HOA, thankfully. Will I need city approval to place them? How far above the roof do they reach?
Are city governments open to these?
I have so many questions and don't know enough to ask.

This is interesting.
How long has the WindMaster been available?
Posted by: John W | July 03, 2008 at 08:40 AM
Eric,
Yes it is!
It has a "tank" like appearance for tank like endurance.
Thanks

Is the windmaster effective enough to work in mountain regions where there is a lot of snow fall for the season like in upper new york state.
Posted by: eric carter | July 01, 2008 at 01:26 PM
Gilbert,
It is the Outback GTFX 2524.
Thanks

Which model outback inverter is used?
Posted by: Gilbert | June 27, 2008 at 03:10 PM
Tad,
Yes you can. In fact if your order the grid connect system we recommend twin WindMaster micro wind turbines for that Outback 2500 watt inverter.
Thanks

Freetricity - I need to know if you can install more than one WindMaster on your home at one time. Please let me know ASAP because I need to know what to order as I'm going to Google checkout today. Thanks for your help, Glenn.
Posted by: Tad Kim | June 26, 2008 at 02:49 PM
Candi,
Yes you can. You may need another charge controller however since a charge controller can only do wind or sun ... not both at the same time.
Thanks
